Reflection

.
I do not like writing poetry and I'm not by any means a good poet but I think I wrote some decent poetry. They may be a little grade school and rhyme a lot but that’s how I like to write them. During this time I actually enjoyed myself and I’m honestly really proud of some of my poems. I actually learned some poetry terms and how to write more than just a rhyme. My favorite poem to write was the waltz because I liked how it sounded when I read it. My least favorite was the art response poem I really had nothing to write about except Frida's eyebrow. What I really liked was how we just didn't have to write just one type of poem but we got to practice multiple types. I probably won’t write many poems in the near future unless I’m forced....which I will be since its school but I actually have the knowledge to write a basic poem

Bingo poems: Waltz Wave

Me
And you
To-
Gether
Forever
Stronger

Well I thought
But then she came
Everything

Changed
Oh no!
My heart broke
In two
I
Am so
Threw

Frida Kahlo, self-portrait with Thorn Necklace and Humming bird

You question me
Oh golly gee!
Are you a man or a woman?
Your very tan

your actually pretty scary.
I guess you could be a girl
even though you make me hurl.

Poetry Station: Manipulative Poem

Young woman wake to blaze
Their minds are in a haze

Men are naked

What happened haunts them
Especially when the lights dim

Last night was fun
Now your parents are going to call a nun

Poetry Station: Borrowed Poem

Borrowed by Edgar Allan Poe
Thou woulds't beloved?- then let thy heart
please don't fart.
You are such a stuck up tart.
I loved you, you had my heart
but your stupid self ripped it apart.
They took it out and put it in a cart.
Then they took it to Smart Mart
hung it on a wall like a piece of art
